Hello again everyone!

Over at Eternal Photography we’ve been quite busy with the Wedding season, and we have neglected to update our blog with our recent sessions, so here we go. A major attempt to make a few updates.

I would like to start the blog posting furry with an extremely great couple, Eric and Angela.

Eric and Angela are two very beautiful people, inside and out. They really made us feel welcome at their wedding. A bonus for us was having a tremendous amount of time for the formal picture shots, which really makes everything go so smoothly, so we thought we would try a few ‘out there’ shots with the sun bursts, and off camera flash with the rings. Another fantastic thing about this wedding, was that the Ceremony, and Reception were at the same location, so no running around, rushing from site to site. :)

The day started off with a nice little rain shower in the morning, and it almost looked like it was going to ruin our opportunity to take outside shots. Fortunately this wasn’t the case, after all, we do live in Calgary, and you know what they say (I know, you want to punch me right now..) “If you don’t like the weather… wait 5 minutes.” Good thing there is actually some truth to that statement, because by the time the Ceremony rolled around at 3PM, the clouds had dramatically transformation from dark rain clouds, to a beautiful white fluffy look, with an ample amount of visible blue sky.

Angle had fantastic brides maids that we’re really into the photo shoot, and offered lots of great suggestions and idea’s they had.

Girls, I told you I wasn’t great with names, and I'm sorry that I lied to you. I’m HORIBLE with names! So my apologies. However, I can tell you all that you were all very beautiful, and any fool with a camera would have been able to capture your beauty, I just like to think we did it better :)

Groomsmen, I know you weren't quite up for the picture thing as much as the girls were, but you have to admit, for being as hot as it was, and uncomfortable in those suites, you guys were stylin’ and the images came out fantastic.

This hasn’t been the first, nor will it be the last time we’ll let the kids shoot a picture or two (with our assistance, as most of them can’t lift the camera on their own.)

I find it gives the kids interest in what’s going on, and they are more egger to be part of the pictures, which can sometimes take quite a bit of time to organize, depending on the wedding party size, and most people, let alone children like to stand around, waiting for their picture to get taken.

"I was impressed with the 2 photographers at my sisters wedding. They took gorgeous photos -posed, and candid. and they had fun doing it. They were quiet and inobtrusive, and made the standing still and posing fun. The 6yr old ring bearer has decided he would like to be a photographer too and get to go to lots of weddings and have a cool camera ; )
